The Village of Alrewas

On the advice of Gary and Caroline we visited the village of Alrewas. Great little village.

Population 2,852
One butcher-grocery

Two Churches
 The Methodist Church

All Saints - Church of England

Three Pubs
The Crown - which we frequented

George & Dragon

and The William IV

Interestingly right behind the William IV
was the Alrewas (Boy) Scouts meeting hall
Be Prepared

Some of the homes still have thatched roofs

This one had jams, jellies, etc. for sale on the front wall. Damson plum jam it is!

Some homes have their back yards bordering the canal

Some homes have gardens in the front

Extra points for identifying this plant found in the garden of the home above.
