A Little Wildlife
On a Saturday afternoon we encountered this young fellow at a lock.
He is 8 years-old and lives in the house across the lock; spending his free time helping boaters operate the lock. Needless to say this hard work earned him a bag of mac nuts as a reward.
Not far from the lock above we picked up this quiet mooring.

Swans, cormorants, geese, herons, egrets, gulls, and more different kinds of ducks than I could name.
