The couple above is Mitch and Betsy Mitchell. In the early 1980's they rented (hired) narrowboats for several years and then bought a narrowboat - while living in Hawaii! They were the folks who told us about narrowboating and got us interested.
We always called Mitch from the boat while we were on the canals and you could hear the excitement in his voice. Unfortunately Mitch pass away several weeks before we left for our trip last year; Betsy died in December of 2013. They will always be in our memories while we are on our trips. Aloha
